Painted with acrylics, the canvas for this piece is hand-dyed, delicately ruffle-edged paper.  A pair of paintings!  My grandmother had a magnolia tree in her front yard, and growing up I remember how much she loved that tree...this pair of paintings is inspired by that tree!
