Created with a mix of mediums, the canvas for this piece is hand-dyed, delicately ruffle-edged paper.  This piece is inspired by Psalm 23, which begins, "The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters. He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name’s sake."  It was the first passage I ever memorized as a child, and still pops into my head regularly...I love the peaceful green and quiet little stream in this painting, and my hope is that is serves as a constant reminder of God's kind hand over your life.
