Created with a mix of mediums, the canvas for this piece is hand-dyed, delicately ruffle-edged paper.  The tall, powder blue stalks of Larkspur are one of the flowers I love to have in my studio, so it was only natural that as I was sitting at my desk with the window open and a podcast playing, the blues and pale greens of these flowers were just begging to be painted.
