Created with a mix of mediums, the canvas for this piece is hand-dyed, delicately ruffle-edged paper.  The paper is double-layered, adding texture and visual interest.  "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me."  This is a verse that I continually go back to again and again.  To abide, to dwell, and to remain in Jesus, as the only source of true goodness, love, worth, and true fulfillment.
